Mahesh Pillai

Dr. Mahesh Pillai, DNP, MSN, APRN, NP-C.

Dr. Mahesh Pillai is a Doctoral-prepared Nurse Practitioner with an exceptional career in nursing that spans diverse roles, from bedside care to advanced practice and leadership. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Pillai holds a Master’s in Nursing, Post-Master’s Certification, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP).

Currently practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Pillai has dedicated his career to elevating nursing standards and fostering professional growth. He has coached thousands of nurses to successfully prepare for the NCLEX-RN exam, as well as language proficiency exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and TSE, enabling them to achieve their dreams of practicing internationally.

His commitment to the nursing community extends beyond clinical practice. Dr. Pillai has been an influential leader in the Indian Nurses Association, serving as President, Vice President, and Convenor of the NAINA National Conference. Through these roles, he has championed initiatives that empower Indian nurses and promote their contributions to healthcare.

Dr. Pillai’s unwavering dedication to nursing, education, and leadership continues to inspire the next generation of nurses while driving excellence in the profession.

Angel Jyoti

Angel Jyothi has served IANANT office as membership chair during 2021-2022, as a Secretary during 2023-2024 and currently serves as Vice President. Her expertise includes neonatal nursing and health care leadership. Ms. Jyothi serves as mentor and has presented posters at local and national conferences.

Elizabeth Antony has been an active member of IANANT since 2019 and served as the Awards and Scholarship committee chair for 2023-2024 term. Elizabeth is an experienced Healthcare Professional with 10+ years’ experience in Healthcare Quality, Regulatory and Performance Improvement, currently working as Quality Improvement Safety Coordinator in the Solid Organ Transplant Administration at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Her expertise includes Cardiology Nursing and Nursing Instructor, and provides oversight for Transplant regulation, Patient safety and Data Management in her current role.

Susamma Abraham

Dr. Susamma Abraham has been an active member of IANANT since 2008. Susamma served IANANT office as charity and fundraising chair of 2021-2022 term. She is working as a nurse practitioner in the Interventional Radiology department at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Dr. Abraham is a mentor and resource for many health professionals.
