We are excited to announce that IANANT is planning to release a Newsletter to highlight the work and contributions of IANANT members during the month of August 2025. We hereby invite all IANANT members to send articles and literary contributions showcasing their dedication and achievements in the field of nursing.
IANANT editorial committee is committed to:
Increase engagement and recognition of members through publications and newsletters that are both local and national level.
Improve the standards and quality of IANANT publications by diversifying its content, keeping the members’ educational and professional needs in mind.
Please follow the instructions below to send in your submissions:
What to submit:
1. Scholarly articles
Articles that present quality improvement (QI), evidence-based practice (EBP), research and/or innovation.
QI/EBP, research and/or initiatives.
2. Clinically scholarly articles
Articles in which the author is introducing case studies regarding rare disease processes, treatments, or interventions.
Review articles, related to nursing education.
Clinical case highlights.
Personal reflection – personal experiences of nursing journey.
Clinical pearls – short abstract of clinical significant extract based on personal experiences that have or may impact the nursing profession and nursing students.
Awards, accolades, achievements and certifications (please send a copy of the certificate along with your photograph).
How to submit:
The submission should accompany the following brief presenter biography in the email content.
Author’s Biographical Data:
Full Name
Title along with credentials like:
Jane Wilson, MSN, RNPhone number
Professional Photograph: Size 8×10, file format JPEG (send it as a separate attachment)
Submission guidelines:
The submission can be healthcare-related topics written in English with a maximum word limit of 800 words (~1 page) in Times New Roman 12-point font in a Word document. A maximum of 3 APA-formatted references if required.
Submissions written in other languages and plagiarisms will not be accepted.
Articles must be the original work of the author.
The article must be free from grammatical and spelling errors.
A written approval or consent from the employer or patient/client mentioned in the article or presentation must be submitted.
Articles published in any other publication will not be accepted.
Members of the board of IANANT’s sub-committees can submit their work as well.
The IANANT editorial committee reserves the right to review, edit, publish, or reject any submissions.

IANANT Editorial committee goals/ plans for the fiscal year 2025 include:
Publish newsletters during April, August and December
- Publish Monthly IANANT Bulletin with important events and chapter news
- Mentor members to write and publish through one-on-one coaching and education.
We welcome you to submit any personal or professional work that qualifies under the following categories to be included in the newsletter.
1. Scholarly Articles:
- Articles that present quality improvement (QI), evidence-based practice (EBP), or research studies or initiatives.
2. Non-Scholarly Articles:
- Clinical Series – Any interesting case studies regarding rare disease conditions, treatment, and management of clinical conditions
- Poems and stories
- COVID related clinical updates
- Personal Memoir — Member experiences
- Clinical Pearls – A short account of clinically relevant information based on experience or observation.
- My Story – Personal stories of the nursing journey of IANANT members
- Stories from bedside – Voice of the RN – Personal stories of events that impacted the practice and professional journey of the bedside nurse
Submission guidelines for the IANANT newsletter
1. Acceptable submissions
- The article should be the original work of the author and appropriately referenced using APA format.
- IANANT will not accept narratives from prior IANANT or NAINA publications.
- Provide biographical details: name, credentials, and email addresses of each author/contributor.
- All articles, reports, and write-ups should be in English and submitted in a Microsoft Word document.
- While submitting information on professional recognition or accolades of IANANT members, Please include: Name & Credentials Picture of the recipient Details of the Award and the Awarding Entity
2. Photographs:
- Members must send pictures in the appropriate JPEG or PNG format.
- Captions for the pictures must be in an appropriate Word Format with a clear indication of which image it correlates

- The author is responsible for proper citation of references used in scholarly work.
- Copyright images are prohibited, and the author of the used content is fully responsible for copyright-related matters.
- IANANT reserves the right to publish or reject your submissions. Your submissions are subject to editing by the editorial committee before publication.
